Is it just me? Or are the stupid Republican ideas tapering off a little bit? Anyway, browsing [salon.com](http://www.salon.com) today, there were two items that stood out, making me think of this thread: (1) Evidently, [support for teaching evolution in Alabama is smear-worthy](http://www.salon.com/life/youtube/index.html?story=/mwt/feature/2010/05/12/bradley_bryne_alabama_ad). I think there’s a separate thread on this…but Great Googly Moogly, it deserves more point-and-laugh treatment. (2) [Obama is being put on trial in Harlem](http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2010/05/14/obama_trial_fight). Honestly, I can’t even read too much of this one, so I’ve not read any of the related articles or followed any links.
