Selecting the “Most Interest” option filters most of that stuff out… leaving a bitter (to the party establishment’s taste) residue of genuine fiscal conservatives and libertarians who (at least implicitly, and often not at all implicitly) call the GOP out on its miserable record on the former score and the bogosity of its “less government” rhetoric on the latter score. EDIT: It occurs to me that part of this may be the result of Poe’s Law: actual social-conservative commentary about Teh Evul Gay and whatnot is so similar to trolldom that it gets lumped in with it and down-voted even by people who might be inclined to agree with the underlying sentiments. ---
