It’s kinda hard to see Cruz as the stupid-idea guy there, unless we consider it a stupid idea to not gauge one’s audience correctly. ---

On reflection, maybe Cruz is playing a longer game. It’s not like these people are going to vote Democrat, and he gets some national ink as a pro-Israel maverick. Or is that giving him too much credit? ---

Why was a (I assume) evangelical Christian group booing about supporting Israel? I thought they strongly supported Israel ---
