A [neat little roundup of conservative pundits](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/conservatives-freak-out-bipartisan-senate) warning Republicans to stop governing and start obstructing, and that the shutdown was totally a good idea.

The more moderate view is that the Republicans should try to get whatever concessions they can before impeachment proceedings actually begin.

Good old Billo, he can always be counted on for some nice, steaming stupid: on his show, out-loud-like, he said [that Republicans are afraid of black people](http://www.alternet.org/tea-party-and-right/6-right-wing-disasters-week-bill-oreilly-drops-accidental-truth-bomb). Tastiest part of this well-aged morsel? The person sitting there listening to him say it: Tavis Smiley.

[The vigilant watchdogs at Breitbart have got the goods](http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/11/09/breitbarts-attack-on-obama-attorney-general-nom/201511) on Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch…

> [@](#):
>
> According to a November 8 [Breitbart.com](http://Breitbart.com) article by Warner Todd Huston, “few are talking about” the fact nominee Lynch “was part of Bill Clinton’s Whitewater probe defense team in 1992.” Huston pointed to a March 1992 New York Times article that “reported that Lynch was one of the Clintons’ Whitewater defense attorneys as well as a ‘campaign aide.’” And in a November 9 article Huston’s colleague, [Breitbart.com](http://Breitbart.com) Senior Editor-at Large Joel Pollak wrote, “The connection to Whitewater ought to provide additional fodder for Republicans during Lynch’s confirmation hearings”…

…or at least they’ve got the goods an _ **a** _ Loretta Lynch…

> [@](#):
>
> [Breitbart.com](http://Breitbart.com) added corrections to the articles that confused the two attorneys, noting at bottom that “[t]he Loretta Lynch identified earlier as the Whitewater attorney was, in fact, a different attorney.”

:smack: :smack:

Oh, well, there’s a bright side – the folks at Breitbart can run photos of the two Loretta Lynches as evidence that they, like Stephen Colbert, don’t see race. 😛

Obama ought to really tie them in knots by finding somebody named “John Smith” to nominate to something… 😃

What’s more:

Moreover, only 2.6 percent of welfare applicants tested positive for drugs, while Florida’s overall illegal drug use rate is an estimated 8 percent. The 97% who failed to fail the test did not have to pony up, so Florida was stuck with a big testing bill – and, of course, they would have to collect the testing fee from now very destitute persons. Much simpler to just charge everyone for their test, regardless of the result.

That there’s a man cut from Presidential timber. How I hope the GOP runs hard with an anti-Net Neutrality stance. Do it! Do it!

Let’s see, aging 10 years in six months means that by 2016 he’ll be 40 years older which would make him 112 or so. He’ll probably be dead of old age well before then.

Knowing Mitch, Ted’s more likely to come out with gray hair. McCOnnell’s a pretty cool customer. I kinda wanted him to go away in this election, but I have to admit, no one’s better at making deals with the Democrats on one hand while putting the extremists in their place on the other like Mitch.

I mean simply by denying them any wins. He can’t fire anyone, of course. I just don’t think Ted Cruz is ever going to outmaneuver McConnell.
