If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for veteran political thinker David Duke to weigh in on the Steve Scalise issue. At last he has! He confirms that Scalise spoke to his group and says he met with Scalise several times. Duke says he has met with lots of politicians of both parties, which I’m sure is true since he ran for office several times and was a state legislator for a time. Anyway, he can’t see what all the hubbub is about, and he says he doesn’t have a personal or political relationship with Scalise. But he seems oddly interested in defending Scalise, threatening that if the Republican leadership boots Scalise, he will release the names of every politician he has ties to. Around here we recently had a Secretary for Foreign Commerce who didn’t pay a cent in taxes (nor his utilities bill, nor rent…) over a period of… three or four years I think ? He said he had an “administrative phobia” - that he was literally scared and intimidated by all the forms. I am not making this up. And so naturally he simply _had_ to use his political position to make them all go away somehow. Now \*\*that \*\*takes some balls. He got shitcanned from the government, but AFAIK he’s still député (that’d be congressman for y’alls) ---

Most courts are pretty harsh with people who fuck over their employees. ---
