Bear in mind that Vitter replaced _David Duke_ in the Louisiana legislature, and it doesn’t seem that surprising. ---

Rep. Sen. Kyl wants the Bush tax cuts for the rich to be renewed. He also resists commensurate cutbacks to pay for it. Now he wants cuts in Social Security, because THAT contributes to the debt. Does he not know it has its own funding? Some of these guys should be broomed for blatant stupidity. But, we know who he works for ,don’t we? Still pandering to the wealthy. ---

Are there any really crazy leftists left – people who don’t believe in private property and such? Could we even come up with a politician who would advocate nationalization of all major industries or public ownership of all significant capital and natural resources? ---

I think she ran on a Green Party ticket a while ago. And the most recent I’ve heard about her was that she was on an aid flotilla to Gaza (not the one with the Mavi Mamara that was boarded, an earlier one). ---
