All they have to do is amend the Immigration and Naturalization Act to remove the Secretary’s discretion. But they won’t, because they can’t possibly expect to win a public debate about how the POTUS is refusing to enforce the law when this POTUS has deported more people than anyone in history. ---

## I suggest that every time adaher posts in this thread, the immediate (and only the first post after his) response should be to post the following: ## adaher says: Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! That’s it. Don’t respond. Don’t engage. Just repeat his own mindless bleating back at him and then move on. ---

I recall that when Alaska was socially promoted to statehood, wise and prudent people advised against it. That most such persons were native to a state not widely regarded for wisdom and prudence is an anomaly of history. But, nonetheless, we told you so. ---
