How about a non-stupid Republican idea? Oklahoma’s state treasurer, who is a Republican, says that two bills before the state legislature which would keep the state from determining whether Oklahomans have refunds from insurance companies due them are “shameful”, and[he will sue the state if the bills are passed](http://newsok.com/oklahoma-treasurer-describes-insurance-bills-as-shameful/article/5399042?). The bills were proposed by state legislators who are insurance agents. ---
