Look dude, when I go to work tonite I’ll get you the 1 800 number; you can call them and whine to your hearts content… they’ll send you free stuff. I have been known to hang up on customers… minimum wage just isn’t ENOUGH money to force me to put up with: name calling, swearing, or just general bad attitude. As far as your second example goes: What you can’t except human error? You got TWO pizzas for the price of one… have some class. You might be surprised at how many parties I have delivered to: they open the door eating the wrong pizza and take the so called right one and pass it back to the 15 or so OTHER people in the room. So, yeah we get a bit cynical about sob stories sometimes… ---

Hey, at least they didn’t tow the pizza to your house. You should see some of the “suck it up and take the loss” replies I got for paying for something unwarranted. And to the other apologists, I saw nothing where he called anyone a name other than in a pissed off post here. Anyone “offended” by the word slut can review any words they’ve used in the past and ask for modifications. I think it’s hilarious that many of those that bitch about “Corporate America” are the first in line to defend corporations when someone gives the needle to a worker of one. Hey, folks. People work for the companies. They are the reps you deal with. When you get hosed, it’s the American thing to stand up and call bullshit. End of hijack, thank you for your time ---

Sorry, but its Sunday morning…what infantile impulse makes you idle your Harley-Davidson, straight-pipe/no muffler noisemaker for 12 minutes? Do you enjoy inflicting hearing damage upon your neighbors? Is it cool to irritate people. I guess you don’t give a damn about anything except gratifying your own feeble ego…does it make you feel masculine to drag your fat ass around on a motorcyle that was designed in the 1920’s! Does blipping the throttle make you feel powerful? Oh, and I notice you ride without goggles and helmet…good! Perhaps a bee or sparrow will collidewith you at 70 mph…and sned you offto biker heaven! :eek: ---

A Harley, doing 70 MPH? Surely, you jest. 🙂 I don’t know what this post is doing here, but I can tell you most motorbikes need to idle for a few minutes to get warm. I usually let mine run idle for about 2 minutes, while I get my helmet, ear plugs, and gloves on. Or in. Then again, mine’s a Yamaha with stock exhaust, so I doubt the neighbours mind it too much. 12 minutes seems a bit overkill.
