Two of his previous warnings (including the one that led directly to his one month suspension) were for using anti-trans slurs. So, **BigT** is correct when he says that **Derek** was banned for transphobia. ---

This is exactly what I meant by saying we all have lines we draw. I, for example, would not object to the person talking about welfare, Rand, or guns, but I would have a huge objection to the racist and would not allow them a venue if I had any say. We all have lines, so just to say (this is not what you said, but what others claim) that it’s unreasonable and horrible and ghastly to shout people down is simply wrong. It completely depends on what those people are saying. If someone wants to come to my school and talk about putting trans folk into propellers, I want that person run out of town on a figurative rail. ---
