According to a _Wall Street Journal_ article, the Trump campaign was unaware that they’d have to hire all new staff for the administration. I guess they assumed that all those folks running around the West Wing came with the building. Like when you buy a hotel or casino and you just have to hand out new uniforms. According to the same article, Obama has decided to spend more time with Trump than outgoing presidents usually do with their successors. Obama is apparently trying his best to prepare Trump for the job. This is yet more proof that Obama is a bigger person than I am. I’d refuse to meet with Trump and tell him, “Fuck you, you’re on your own.” Luckily we have a president whose concern for the country outweighs whatever anger or vindictiveness he might feel. That is pretty shocking, although if personnel is policy, Obama should have been like, “Um, yeah, yeah, all these folks are staying. Your supporters will be thrilled.” ---

See, what scares me the most about this is what if this walking orange liar actually does something that I agree with? Like… taxing all churches. :eek: I suppose “Pray the Gay Away” Pence will shoot that down when he takes office in a year or two. ---

I can’t find any verification of this, I would appreciate if somebody could, though. Rachel Maddow said today that Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who for a week now has been talking about the Trump immigration policy, says that Trump and his staff are looking at ways to ban Muslims. But Maddow says that the Trump team is now saying that Kobach is not, and has never been, a member of their transition staff and doesn’t speak for them. ---
