The new bottle of Heinz ketchup now reads “For use on food”. Does this have anything to do with kids watching their latest comercials? Example: Child has just covered daddy’s car with ketchup. I guess they should have seen that one coming. Irony is the child is likely not old enough to read the warning. Then you have a fast food joint that should dedicate a whole wall to all the recalled toy’s in their kids meals. We try to guess which part will be the next choking hazard for the current meal’s toy. The same chain has ads telling kids to come on over and have fun. The irony is, posted all over the store are signs that say no lottering. Ignorance and apathy, I don’t know and I don’t care. ---

Nope … I was going to post on this as well, but apparently someone at the Heinz company has a sense of humor. We’ve seen bottles at the store with a variety of labels, including “Not Green”, “For Use on Food”, and “Mustard Looks Up To It.” ---

When I was a kid I had heard the advertising slogan, “Tums for the Tummy.” I didn’t know just what Tums were for then, and we had a roll of them; I did what I thought the slogan meant–and stuck one in my navel! 😃 ---

My fave is still the chainsaw manual that, as part of the safety guidelines, says “Do not stop chain with bare hands”. Duuuhhhhhhh! ---

I didn’t notice until I got home that my new bottle of Heinz said “14 Million French Fries Can’t Be Wrong”. Apparently, the new green ketchup has released the Inner Child in the label design department. ---

I think at one point in time I saw a Heinz ketchup bottle with the phrase “pssst, over here” on it… and now for another silly warning: [found on a curling iron warning label] “do not insert hot parts into orifices.” Uhm, what kind of sick person does that? ---
