I happen to think that the best title EVER for a movie is: _Children of a Lesser God_ How cool is THAT? ---

I’ve always had a perverse liking for: _The Englishman who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain._ I have to admit, I don’t really understand the title _Children of a Lesser God._ (I didn’t see it either, would that have helped?) ---

_Children of a Lesser God_ is a cool movie, and has a very cool title. _Boondock Saints_, _The Blood of Heroes_, and _Six-String Samurai_ all have great titles, too. Also, strangely enough, if I had a band I would name it after any one of those titles. ---

Lots of great titles mentioned here. Some other faves: **The Double Life of Veronique** **Heathers** **Schindler’s List** (with a cool poster to boot) But if I had to pick only one, I’d go with **Wings of Desire**. Wim Wenders rocks! ---

It’s set in a school for the deaf and besides being a romance between a deaf woman and a hearing man, deals with the question of, are deaf people disabled in a hearing world, or do they possess an equal culture of their own. The title evokes this question beautifully, I think. (It’s been quite some time since I’ve seen it; I hope I’m characterizing it correctly, Hec 🙂 ) ---

As a random hijack, my mother (deaf herself) directed an award-winning stage version of Children of a Lesser God. For the OP… _Not Without My Daughter_. It’s a made for TV movie. It’s so evocative, so incredibly cheesy, that I love it. ---

And then there’s _The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies_ – arguably one of the worst movies ever – but the title’s kinda cool. ---
