Every time I think I’ve seen the best of the worst, a new idiot comes along and reinvents idiocy, kicking it up a notch. Today’s entry involves a gentleman who thought fireworks should be held between one’s butt cheeks. :eek: Sorry kids, but I don’t want things filled with gunpowder near my tender bits. :smack: [Here](http://smh.com.au/articles/2003/09/03/1062548893255.html) is the story of an ill fated afternoon down under. I’m looking forward too seeing him featured in my Darwin Awards calendar for next year. Even if he were still functional, I’m guessing that the colostomy bag acts a defacto prophylactic right about the time heavy petting yields to foreplay. ---

As a woman, I’m sorta grateful to him for blowing his naughty bits up so no sister will ever have to deal with them (or brother, if that was his persuasion). ---

Well, the guy didn’t imitate a stunt from Jackass - he fell down while imitating a stunt from Jackass, big difference. Anybody can fall down, just an accident, plain and simple. We owe him much sympathy. What if you fell down? ---

[nitpick]Technically, this should be a nadir (low point) of stupidity. The zenith (high point) of stupidity would be someone with roughly average intelligence.[/nitpick] ---

I’m trying not to sound sexist here, but why is it when I read of stories of people doing stupid stunts like this, I’ve never read of it being a woman? Is there a male proclivity for stupid stunts? (If someone can provide a cite showing that females actually do an equal amount of this, I will gladly retract my question.) ---

Well, I don’t know if it’s an “equal amount,” but there _was_ that girl earlier this year who tried to slide down a bannister at a museum, while on a school trip, and came to grief. ---
