Stupidity you have heard

Easter during a blizzard? Not in Southern California, but I remember an Easter in the 70s when it poured rain all day; and when we were kids there was a hailstorm on Easter!

You realize it still makes no sense to me, and matters not a bit. And if Jesus died on the first day of Passover, he wouldn’t have been buried on that day, regardless of whether the next day was Shabbes. You do not hold funerals on Passover or Shabbes.

There’s a lot that happens in the gospels-- like the idea of Jesus being dead for three days-- that is Jewish custom and superstition, not Jewish law or prophecy, and a lot of things that were misunderstood, and misinterpreted by the people who wrote down Aramaic oral texts into Greek, but the misunderstandings serve to reveal the underlying Aramaic stories.

I think that a man who just got 1.8 mil, has just had his reputation enhanced.
