# Stuu-uuuff... ?

I have this phrase stuck in my head (yes, I’m crazy, and I get phrases stuck in my head). It’s a female voice, saying the word “Stuff” in a sort of stoner drawl (think Pauly Shore). What I can’t figure out is where I am remembering this from. I do remember that it was one of the phrases my ex and I would toss around: “What are you making for dinner tonight?” “Stuuu-uuff…”
Can someone help?
(Yeah okay, one of these days I’ll just change my user name because no one is ever gonna tell me that.)

Meant to add some hopefully helpful info: I believe it was from a movie, and the line featured in the trailers, which is why we kept using it. I think it was probably mid-to-late 90s.

Well the phrase doesn’t have anything to do with cooking - that was just one of the ways in which my ex and I would use it. Basically, anything that could be answered with “Stuuuuff”, was.
Definitely not Brad Pitt though.

I think I remember now…there was an exchange where Breckin Meyer asks Brittany what guys could do to impress girls, and she says, “Stuuuufff”. Anyway, I think that’s it. If you rent the movie, let me know if I was right! 😉

Sorry, I had a flash, I know Brittany Murphy is the popular answer, but Bernadette Peters pre-dates it with _The Jerk_. I believe the line is something like: I’m not going to miss the money, I’m going to miss the Stuu-uuuff.
After Navin Johnson is ruined and they’re in the mansion.
