Superchargers don’t get as hot as turbos and do not have the same cooldown needs. When I mentioned they heatsoak, that means the large chunk of aluminum that is the housing gets hot, which then heats the intake charge, which reduces the potential power that can be produced.
A supercharged car on a 60 degree day with a cool motor is a different beast than the same car, in stop n go traffic, on a 95 degree day.
