It looks like just _any_ “painting” can be submitted for the contest? Including some MS Paint scribbles someone makes up in few seconds. I think the contest would be much more meaningful if it were limited to works of art that have been shown at least once in a gallery. Though it looks like the winner last year was done by a group of ostensibly professional artists. I do like the “artist or ape” quiz thingy though. ---
