There seems to be considerable interest in the [2004 calendar idea](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=21145), so I’m officially kicking it off now. First stop is the Cheesecake Calendar\* – we need 12 pics of the ladies and 12 pics of the guys. Step up to the plate, folks! No actual visible nudity please–naked photos must have the naughty bits covered by strategically placed toasters or something. Email pictures to [opalcat@fathom.org](mailto:opalcat@fathom.org) _please_ put **SDMB CALENDAR** in the email subject line (JUST LIKE THAT) so that my filter will sort it for me. Do **not** put “here is my picture” or “from the SDMB” or “calendar pics” … put **SDMB CALENDAR**. I can’t stress how important this is. I get, minimum, 500 emails per day and I rely on my filters heavily. It is very likely that your email will end up in the trash by mistake if you don’t put the proper subject line. Also, be sure to put your SDMB screenname in the email and mention if you have a preference for a particular month. preferred format is .png but .bmp or high quality .jpg are acceptable You are free to digitally modify your photo within reason… for example: Acceptable: - clear up acne, scars, moles, cover tattoos - remove other people from the image - cut out figure and put into different background - digitally add elements to the photo (strategically placed fig leaf…) - add devil horns - apply a sepia filter to age the image Unacceptable: - blur or pixelate out face - blur/pixelate out body parts (it’s cheesy. Just put something in front of them if you don’t want them to show.) - warp body/face into different shape - apply weird filters/textures to body/face Please do not use a mask or otherwise create an “artistic edge” to the photos–that will be something that I will do in the end and I want them to all match. Here is a template to help you: [TEMPLATE](http://fff.fathom.org/pages/opalcat/calendar-template.png) Your image should be 2200 x 1650 pixels or as close as you can get. \*we may also do a “snapshots” calendar and/or a “page o flames” calendar. ---

Whoa. I have one picture of me with my shirt off but once I blow it up to that size it looks downright scary. I have a few rolls of film I need to get developed though so maybe there will be something cool on one of them. ---
