Here’s exactly what happened: Zoggie started a thread in ATMB asking about subscribing to a forum. In that ATMB thread poster kikiki made a derogatory comment. I used the “split thread” function to move the derogatory comment to The BBQ Pit which is the proper forum for such posts. Unfortunately when you use the “split thread” function it shows, in the forum display, the original OP name (and title). All clear now? ---

I was very mislead by the sudden appearence of kikiki’s comment. Nevertheless, I was refering to the following post by Arnold W in the cited ATMB thread: “You’re welcome. Now go post something intelligent in Comments on Cecil’s Columns!” I am sorry if I misinterpreted the tone of this comment, but following the thread after seeing the early posts here in the pit, I thought it was intended in a different way than you probably inteded. Sorry about the manual quote, but I don’t know how to quote from a different forum. ---
