I subscribed to the boards as a paid-up member on 8/29/08. I still have the email with the confirmation number in it. I was listed as a member for a few days, and then the upgrade began and I was bumped down to Guest again. No problem, said I. Bugs just need to get worked out. I saw that other people were having the same problem and didn’t wory about it. Now I see in the Current Status of the SDMB Upgrade thread that the user titles problem is now listed as “fixed or improved”. However, I am still listed as a Guest and am still seeing ads. I’m curious if maybe my subscription got lost since it was so close to the upgrade time or if I got left out of the fix our what. As I said, I have the confimation number in the email I got that morning, as well as the bank statement from when my card was charged if proof is needed. It’s not a big deal, it was only fifteen bucks and I don’t really care about the title under my name. I’d like to not see the ads though. Can anybody help me out? ---

Something is obviously not right here – the system shows your subscription expiring June 2008. Please send me a copy of your subscription confirmation and I’ll get it to Jerry – he can straighten this out for you. We apologize for your inconvenience. That’s tubadiva AT aol dot com. ---
