According to [Pollen.com](http://www.pollen.com) I should frickin probably move to Caribou Scrote, Nova Scotia if I want to have a life free of allergy symptoms. I’ve been damn miserable for the past two weeks. I can’t really do anything more than I’m currently doing to try and keep my damn mast cells under control I take Clarinex (patent expiring?..hey let’s have a new formulation!!) during the day…I take Benadryl at night…I take [Patanol](http://www.patanol.com) eye drops twice a day in each eye…and you know what? I still want to rip out my fucking eye balls with a grapefruit spoon!! The inside corners of my eyes feel like they’re on fire. On top of it all… apparently the dreaded [Super Giant Ragweed](http://www.indystar.com/data/wire/out/0826ap_m7p4giu009.html) is making a comeback to the midwest!!! Damn you ragweed…damn your yellowish pollen spores flying through the air straight towards my eyeballs like fratboys to a Tri Delt party! Any Canadian or Arctic dopers care for some short term company? I’m low maintenance, reasonably hygenic 😉 and like parlor games. . . . . . and a healthy fuck you to our friend the mold spore, as well. ---

_sniff_ _cough_ _ah-CHOO!_ _Sniff_ You have my symfafy. My nothe hath been snuffy or rundin like a fathet for weeks dow. I got stuck with the job of cleaning out the 'rents house. Love my Mom to tears but jeez! woman! throw some of those dust gatherers away! And I wont even discuss the cat issues… _pass the allegra_ hi ho hi ho its off to blow my nose I go! ---

I just went to the doctor for my very first allergy prescription. She gave me two-week samples of Clarinex and Allegra to try. Symptoms are not gone, but eased off delightfully- it’s nice to just be uncomfortable instead of miserable. God bless Bob Claritin and all the employees in his merry little company. ---

Iowa? you are allergic to pollen and you live in Iowa? um, can you say ‘move’? and: is IA still paying people to move there? (now, _that_ was a huge tip-off to quality of life, was it not?) ---

My condolences brother Beagledave, from a fellow sufferer. Not only does rag weed get to me I am also allergic to corn pollen, and here I sit in the middle of a God damned corn field that stretches from the valley of the Scioto on the east to way past the middle of Nebraska on the west. I am once more praying for an early frost. Aren’t you glad for air conditioning? ---
