Tell me about it - they’re completely erratic. I read Joe Lemire’s [Baseball power rankings](http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/joe_lemire/04/29/power.rankings.1/index.html?xid=cnnbin&hpt=Sbin) on Sports Illustrated and the damn team went from 16th to 6th to 22nd in a 3 week span. :rolleyes: ---

Could be worse. You could be a Pirates fan. Not that I am, but boy, they’re bad. They can be thankful that the Brewers have such a lousy pitching staff, since they got a couple of wins that way this week. ---

Except that this season is largely like the last 20 losing seasons. Same old, same old. ---

I still think The Baseball Gods are punishing the Braves for wasting all those years between '91 and '05. I just hope they finish the karmic balancing before 2020. ---

Yes, I am a Pirate fan, and you cannot even grasp the depths to which I sink every baseball season. Nats fans? Amateurs. The ONLY fan that I can truly throw some sympathy to is the Baltimore Oriole fan, who have the second worse owner in the major leagues (yes, Mr. Angelo, I’m looking at you.) Mr. Nutting of the Pirates should be found, dragged to Point State Park and burned at the stake. Or hung from a gallow (or is it gallows?). Or beheaded. Or we could put him and Peter Angelo on a raft in the middle of the Pacific and let them drift aimlessly for the rest of their lives. Or all of these. **OR** , he can chose to live a long and happy life if he would agree to sell the Pirates to someone… ANYONE that gave a shit about putting a decent team on the field. An upset Braves fan? That’s like me being pissed that the Steelers didn’t make the playoffs last year and would complain about it. ---
