So I was walking downtown today with my eyeses focused on the sidewalk in the customary way when I spied a wee white block next to an apartment building doorway. Upon closer inspection I positively identified it as a sugar cube. It was lovely and, as I’ve been craving sugar of late, quite the tempting treat! I looked it over for ants but, apart from just the slightest stain on one face (probably a droplet of coffee or tea), it was in good condition. For the next 30 seconds it pleased my tongue with its juicy sucrosiness, reminding me of my fine college days when I would nibble on sugar cubes while my tea water boiled. I guess I must’ve forgotten how much I love sugar cubes. I’m in such a great mood right now, all seems to be right with the world for one of the few moments of my incredibly long life. Sorry, petty mundane but I just had to share this. ---

Do you pick through city sidewalk trashcans, too? Especially near places like Dunkin’ Donuts - there’s lots of yummy sweet drinks left over in there. And, donuts. If I didn’t think you were weird before this post, I do now! ---

What a coincidence! Just now I am over at my friend’s place in his bathroom and see some cold and flu pills in the cabinet. I’m slightly drowsy and may be coming down with a cold, so I think these would be the perfect pick-me-up. The pills are stamped with a “714”. That must mean you can use them 7 days a week, 14 hours a day. I popped a few and now I feel greeeaaaaaaaat! Lov’ly lovey nausea and can’t fell my hand. No frucken cold. Wha was that? ---
