Okay, over on Great Debates there’s a thread (That I would link to, but I’m a UBB pansy) where everybody’s discussing our current National motto: “In God We Trust” (Now if you’re thinking, ‘Hey, that’s not MY national motto’, then you’re clearly not from the USA and your opinion probably doesn’t matter, anyway.) Seems the Supreme Court may soon have to rule on the constitutionality of the motto, and since they will probably rule against it, I think it’s high time to suggest a new (non-religious) motto for the Best Nation On Earth ™. Anyway a few suggestions to get us going: “Simply the Best” “Wazzzup!” “North of Mexico, South of Canada, Light Years Ahead of Everybody Else” “The One Remaining Superpower” “Home of the Annoying Slogan!” “Liberty, Justice, and Really Weak Beer” Feel free to comment or add your own. (Even you poor, disadvantage, foriegn folks can play. Unless you’re from Canada. You can all take your Molson’s and shove them up your @$$. 😃 ) ---

Michael Moore has a bunch of good suggestions on this one: American: our citizens are armed and they like to shoot. A place for a really good burger And others. Also suggests changing the name of the country to “The Big One” Kinda like that ---

When the gold dollar coin was first shown on the web, I made it my wallpaper. But I didn’t like the motto, so I touched it up to say _“We Go In Trust”_, which seemed to work with the sleeping baby. Not sure if it would work so well on the other coins. ---
