[QUOTE=Ellis Dee]
As an example, anybody remember the jello scene in Airplane?
[/QUOTE]

Ah, that is probably the prime example I was unconsciously thinking of, but when I did my search, I only searched 1980-1990. Edit: which, upon checking, means that the entire search is useless because _Airplane_ was 1980 and evidently just doesn’t have the “breasts” keyword.

Nitpick: the jello scene doesn’t have bare breasts, it’s the “By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?” panic scene.

What’s the Jell-O scene?

There’s a sight gag (jeez, that sounds redundant when talking about this movie) of a dish of jello jiggling as they go through some turbulence, then the camera shifts and shows more jiggling.

The original, B&W _Godzilla_.
Everybody’s _heard of it_, suprisingly few kids today have _seen it_.

If you are looking for a campy horror I don’t think you could do better than “Saturday the 14th” [Saturday the 14th (1981) - IMDb](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083033/)

Not really scary but they take a shot at pretty much every horror film up to that point.

My husband and son recently watched [The Comedy of Terrors](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056943/) and thought it was hysterical. Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Boris Karloff, Basil Rathbone…what’s not to like?

Another vote for The Haunting. Holy crap, that terrified me as a kid. And I guess this observation belongs in the thread about music you can’t help associating with the film it appeared in…Night of the Hunter and the hymn Leaning on His Everlasting Arms. ::shivers::

I actually really enjoyed Wes Craven’s [Cursed](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0257516/) that came out a couple of years ago. It’s sort of the _Scream_ of werewolf movies, though I actually liked it better. It’s not a great horror film, but it’s funny, has some spooky moments and a surprisingly sweet love story. Even if you end up hating it, it’s still entertaining!

I know everyone’s been anxiously awaiting results: Our department voted from a slate of 9 candidates (not only submitted by me) and ended up with a tie. _Night of the Lepus_ and _Killer Klowns_ are in a runoff vote.

I voted Klowns.

_Klowns_ it was – and it was just about perfect for the occasion. Plenty of cheesy action, no real sense of menace to be deflated by people making random comments about it.

Next year, though, I’m really going to flack for _Monster Squad_.
