Suggest me a good tire for my car

Tirerack has ratings and comparisons for tires of all types on their site, so it’s great. Read up on them and then look at reviews by people with the same car as you if you can find them. Anything rated at 7/10 or higher is going to be pretty darn good. You can buy them and have them shipped to your mechanic to install.
Belle Tire, Discount Tire, and shops like that almost ALWAYS have tried to upsell me on what they claim is a “better” tire despite the research I’ve done, and I do pretty diligent research. And then they will just … not have the tires I wanted in stock, despite accepting an appointment on their website. It’s irritating. Last 2 times I needed tires, I got them at Costco. You select the tires you want, you schedule it, and drop off the vehicle. Pretty simple.

So what do you think about the tire noise? The Vredelstein was higher rated on that, but I’m not familiar with that brand. Is the noise reduction enough to be worth the money, are there tradeoffs in terms of safety or wear rate?

I’m not familiar with that brand either. I also have limited experience with most tires and none with the particular tires available for your car. (Ironically in light of my recommendation to you, most of my recent tire buying has been summer tires used on a race car - I have definite opinions about those).

If I were you, I’d look at the ratings on Tire Rack from people who own them and judge by their opinions. I wish I could be more helpful.
