Bob Dylan’s Positively 4th Street was already recommended by **NDP** , and I agree it sure as hell comes off as being written about an ex-lover as opposed to the conventional wisdom of it being about music critics. I can’t believe **Joe\_Cool** suggested Reagan Youth; I thought I was the only person in the US to ever listen to them. I’ll also second the Luna & Teeeny Weeny Peeny Weeny recommendations. Here are a few more [ul] [li] **Angry** _Paul McCartney_ It’s not his typical pop/fluff. He’s pissed (probably at Yoko) and actually screams in the song.[/li][li] **Mama Said Knock You Out** _LL Cool J_ It’s the next best thing to beating the crap outta him.[/li][li] **The Kiss** _The Cure_ But only if your still attracted to him. “Get it out, get it out, get your f’king voice out of my head, I wish you were dead.”[/ul][/li] Wasn’t Dirty Laundry about the news media? ---

When i was breaking up with my ex, I I listened to a lot of Rammstein and NIN. Also quite a bit of KMFDM. I particularly liked Buch Dich -Rammstein Hurt- NIN Closer-NIN Anarchy- KMFDM None of them have particularly angry-at-sig-other lyrics, they just sound pissed off. Good enough. ---

_bump_ this thread wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of perhaps the greatest angry breakup song ever written: I’ll Meet you in Poland by Foetus. It equates a relationship to Hitler and Stalin’s crumbled alliance. If you’re unfamiliar with Foetus, go for a live version of the song; it’s a bit more, how shall we say, normal. ---

May I suggest my personal favorite…when I’m pissed off, I like to listen to **Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff**. Some parts of the lyrics… It’s just one of those days when you don’t wanna wake up. Everything is FUCKED! Everybody SUCKS! You don’t really know why, but you wanna justify… Rippin’ someone’s head off! No human contact. And if you interact, Your life is on contract.
