Now I’m confused. Is this a ‘best joke’ contest or a ‘funniest post’ contest. Because it seemed to be the first initially but now it seems more like the latter. So, which is it, exactly? And, is it funny posts that just come up in random threads, or should everyone post their funniest stories? ---

And I modified the title to say [“Awesome-est.”](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=476578) I figure it’ll take awhile to get the ball rolling, though.
