# Suggestions for easiest Windows programming environment & API?

Hey thanks, **si\_blakely**. I’ve been playing around with .NET in C# in SharpDevelop, but doing it from Python would be so much nicer. I’ll give IronPython a go.

One thing, though. I found a good general forum for my question at codeproject, but I found nothing comparable – in fact nothing I recognize as a forum – at MSDN. Do you think you could find a URL for such a thing there? I’ve signed up, but as I said, I have no idea where to ask my question.
