I’m surprised nobody has recommended Lands End yet. We’ve never had one wear out. Several have been outgrown; they make a size for smaller kids and a size for older kids/adults. Oh, and we bought a new one this year for Dweezil because we wanted to get him one with wheels; that’s serving him well but I don’t know if it’ll hold up as well as the other one has (it’s 4 years old and in mint condition). Lands End monograms, also.
I’ve been browsing around this website for a few days now, and just have to ask: is it really worth the $100+ for a leather backpack? You really like it? It’s held up well?
I love backpack-style purses, and I like a couple that I see, and would love a decent leather one, but I would like to touch it and see it before I buy it, especially when I’m spending that freaking much.
I’ve looked at the local Coach store, but they’re all too big or they’re in “stylish” colors like pink and lavendar that I hate.
I just want a basic brown leather backpack!
The best school bag I ever bought was from my university bookstore. The brand is Ecogold (sorry, can’t find a website) and it’s still going strong after 4 years of lugging very heavy books around.
My leather backpack is 15+ years old* and still in good shapeI have needed to re-stitch some tho.
*old enough it was made in Chechloslovakia, before it split in 2
