**secretkeeper** , darlin, you need some good old-fashioned country music. Nobody does heart-broken like those folks. Try Patsy Cline. Just about any Patsy Cline will do. I like kd lang’s _Pure Torch and Twang_ CD, too. Cowboy Junkies are also great and a little less hard-core country.

The Magnetic Fields aren’t country at all, but they have some wonderful break-up songs. My current favorite by them: “If You Don’t Cry, It Isn’t Love.”

Even when I’m not sad, I enjoy listening to sad love songs. I highly recommend these:

_All I Know_ (Art Garfunkel)
_All I Want Is You_ (U2)
_All I Wanted_ (Kansas)
_Still Got the Blues For You_ (Gary Moore)
_Things Go Wrong_ (Chris Isaak) - or anything else from his **Forever Blue** release
_‘J’ For Jules_ ('Til Tuesday) - or anything else from their **Everything’s Different Now** release
