Have some empathy, people… the man was in such a negative state of mind as to be suffering diminished capacity and hence was resistant to reasoned appeals. ---

I’m gaussing he’d reached a level of suffering that was beyond his capacity to withstand, but apparently, his survival instincts impeded his desire to die. ---
