I got a bit of a scare at work today when my boss said she wanted to do something with me in another room. At first I thought she wanted to say something negative to me about my job performance or something. But no, it turned out that it wasn’t about me. She just wanted us to work on a work project together. Other than my having this lingering cold, it’s been a decent day. ---

yaaaaaaaaay, **sari**!! I’m not going to jinx it by saying anything else, but YAY!! The house is smelling rib-a-licious! \*\*FCD \*\*is putting his bike together. I’m wrapping up details for my trip. It’s a good day! 😃 ---

Howdy Y’all! I did a geezer thang today. OYKW and I went to the early senior citizen special at The Golden [del]Hog Trough[/del] Corral. Yep we did! I told 'em two senior citizen discounts and got ‘em. OYKW is not _technically_ a restaurant type sc yet as he won’t be the big 60 until January so I fibbed a little bit. 😃 Now I’m at da cave and he went back to his orifice. He’s got a (I think) medicaid audit comin’ up in two weeks, poor thing. **{{{BBBobbio}}}** hope you’re feelin’ better soonest. **Sari** yay about the repairs! \*\*Rosie I suggest astroturf. **{{{Taters}}}** just cause it sounds like you need a hug. Ok, off to see if anybody’s wrong on teh intartoobz so’s I can correct 'em. 😃 ---

I be a groggy bear. Up so early that I left the house before the newspaper delivery guy comes around, all in the name of attending a meeting with participants on two continents. Amazingly, it was not early enough to beat the traffic. There are still enough cars on the freeway at 5:00 to create a traffic jelly. By 6:00, it’s a full-on marmelade. At least I think that’s thicker than a jam. ---

\*\*flytrap \*\*- he’s been using his iPod and earbuds, but a stereo is definitely safer. Once we finish the deal with selling the aquarium stuff, he’ll take part of the proceeds and get the system he wants. Ribs was yum. I’s stuffded. Ice cream later. Bliss. 😃 ---

Having worked 21 of my allotted 40 in the last 2 days, I am off tomorrow. Tonight’s dinner is Curried chicken with lemongrass thyme rice, and smoky lime veggies. > [@Sahirrnee](#): > > I wish I knew what all I have up in the attic as far as household stuff goes. I’ve been pricing stuff online for the house and I’m not sure what all I need. However I don’t wonder enough to get up into the attic to find out. Going into the attic involves cleaning out an entire closet to open the doors that give access to the attic. Then you have to be careful where you walk because only part of the attic is floored and you can’t stand upright except in the very center. > My house will have a normal attic with real stairs, no cleaning out closets, no pull down ladders, you can stand up and there is a real floor. No falling through if you lose your balance. > > I still remember the day I heard a crunch from over head and saw my fathers foot coming through the ceiling. You need a kegerator, a blender, and knife and cutting board, and 500 red Solo cups. Wait, that’s the housewarming party supply list. Congrats on getting the repair list, too! > [@kopek](#): > > Drink? I thought that was more a ------- green leafy substance. Not that I’ve done anything like that personally; I just read about it.
