# Summer job question - and lawnmowing

I had hoped I would get my 12 year old making some extra money in the summers mowing lawns like I used to do when I was his age. The problem I’m finding is there are just soooo many people out there mowing lawns now - regular companies, retirees, odd jobbers, and college kids that there is just nobody needing a neighborhood 12 year old to do his lawn.

Does anyone have any other ideas how a 12 year old can make some extra money?
