Since the networks are beginning to shovel out the usual summer dreck, it’s time for me and the Mrs. to start catching up on the movies we’ve been too lazy/busy to catch in the theaters. This weekend we caught **Following** , **The Others** , **Ghost World** , and **Harry Potter**. All were excellent, so it was a pretty good run. My wife tried to break the streak by suggesting **A Knight’s Tale** , but fortunately I dissuaded her. Anyone have any suggestions for some out-of-the-way flicks I could try? I’ll probably try **Mullholland Drive** and **Requiem for a Dream** pretty soon, although I’m afraid both might be too gritty for the wife from what I’ve read. I like to try the different flicks though, I’ve stumbled on some of my favorite movies that way, for example **Sweet Hereafter** and **Welcome to Sarajevo**. Any suggestions for “must-see-DVDs” anyone? ---

_Memento: Limited Edition_, even if you’ve already seen the movie. _Ocean’s Eleven_. Supposed to be a good DVD, and it certainly was a good movie. Those are the two that instantly come to mind for me.
