There are sunken sunglass graveyards scattered off of both coasts where I have lost some of my favorite frames over the years. Nowadays when I buy sunglasses, I pay close attention to the fit. At a minimum, I buy wraps, which are snug, but aren’t proof against the dreaded ‘ker-plunk’ of shades sinking into the depths. Better still are the ‘cable temples’ of some Ray-ban aviators. These are great frames, but the lenses aren’t polarized, which would be my preference. And that is my question: does anyone know of aviator style metal frame glasses that are available with cables instead of standard earpieces or wraps? [Croakies](http://www.croakies.com/home.htm) are your friends. They’re expensive ($6.00 or so), but they can save you from losing $100.00 worth of sunglasses. I never have figured out, though, what to do with my sunglasses when I want to take them off when I’m wearing a bicycle helmet.
