This iteration of the Chiefs just can’t win a game with multiple mistakes. And they absolutely can’t score enough and fast enough to make this any sort of game at this point. All runs have to end some time. Too bad for the Chiefs it happened one game short of immortality. ---

The Dolphins also did so to the Skins the next year after VI, but likewise gave up a TD on special teams (the infamous Garo fumble). ---
