That was in fact JJā€™s boob. I work at a newspaper and I saw a picture from The Associated Press. She was wearing a nipple ring that looks like some torture device taken out of the middle ages. ---

Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show: ā€œWe were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. Itā€™s unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime.ā€ Thatā€™s it, dammit. [This](http://pages.cthome.net/smack/2920749_10.jpg) is an extreme close-up of the jewelry from the wire-service photo. Itā€™s only not work-safe if you know what it is, so I hope it doesnā€™t run afoul of the rules. I concur with jayjay on the nipple shield idea. As such, I donā€™t think this would be considered adequate coverage by your average puritan-area strip club. ---

What makes me think this is obviously a set up is the double take Janet does post breast exposure. Seriously,who does a head-spin double take in real life? Not to mention that Justin looks thoroughly unphased by the revealing. IMHO, this is just another Spears-Madonna type of publicity stunt. Most likely, Janet wanted a boost to her ever decreasing ::ahem:: _exposure_ in the media. Any moment now Janet will be appearing in countless magazines and talk shows feigning embarassment over the whole thing. ---

I believe that was fake. Has anyone seen MTVā€™s new advertising? It is all about shock value. Most of the commercials from their reality shows portray their real world ā€œHousesā€ and Road Rules ā€œRoad Tripsā€ as a big brawl. MTV has certainly changed their rhetoric about TV shows and now public events. I guess drama sells. ---
