I’m well aware of the many deficiencies in the NFL’s official team stats, (ie measuring gross yards vs yards per play, etc), however, be that as it may, there isn’t much difference between these two clubs Item GB Rank, Pitt Rank, Diff, Total Dif Offense 10, 12, GB+2, GB +2 Passing 5, 14, GB +9, GB +11 Rushing 24, 11, Pit +13, Pit +2 Scoring 10, 17 GB +7, GB +5 Defense 2, 1, GB+1, GB+6 Pass D 5, 12 GB +7, GB +13 Rush D 18, 1, Pit+17, Pit +4 Scoring D 23, 21 Pit +2, Pit +6 It looks to me like a close game. Go Packers. ---

By my calculations, the game will cost no more than $30 and the Towel will go for around $7. Pretty cheap considering the original terms of the bet, as a bottle of decent bourbon goes for around $20. But what’s going to cost you more is your pride, choking it down the way you’re going to have to. That’s something that will cost you nothing and yet at the same time cost you everything. So, are you game? ---

By the by, it’s currently snowing here and I’m heading to the airport in half an hour to try and get my ass to Dallas. It’s not snowing anymore there, at least, but I’m getting nervous. Still, it’s only a 10 hour drive to Dallas … ---

I hope you make it. Who would have thought that there would be such an issue with getting to the Super Bowl in Dallas, of all places? As for the bet, it’s _supposed_ to hurt. I’m looking forward to seeing you live up to it. ---
