# Super Dave Osborne

A coworker and I were talking about him the other night. I remembered that he was the brother of someone more famous than he is, but I can’t remember whom. Anybody know?

Well, his name was (and probably still is) [Bob Einstein](http://www.amiannoying.com/view.asp?ID=4398), hence the sense of association with someone famous.

His brother is actor/writer.director Albert Brooks, who rather sensibly adopted a stage name since “Albert Einstein” makes for a wierd marquée.

Super Dave is comedy gold! I used to love his show and his great cast of supporting characters (Mike Walden, Fuji Hakayito, Donald Glans), and the botched stunts had me in stitches.

Does anyone remember the cartoon? I loved those because they’d have some of the live action stunts at the end of the show, and it was fun as a kid watching them and finding all the places where they edited out all the shits and fucks. My personal favorite’s the bungee jump episode:

“The sky is blue, the air is pure, and the wieght is tied to your waist.”  
“You’re shitting me…”  
YANK!!!
