I am attending a costume party with the theme of “Create your own Super Hero/Villain” and I’m having trouble naming my creation. I should say now that we have a history of trying to have offensive costumes at our parties, so I have decided to go as an evil abortion doctor. Since he is a villain he is allowed to be a bit of a cliche and “easy” character. The first name I came up with was Doctor Aborto, but “Aborto” ends up sounding like a burger joint (Oporto) when said in our Aussie accent. I have since come up with Doctor Abortem (Abort 'em), but I think there could be a much better, slightly more subtle name out there. Also his catch phrase at the moment is “I’m gonna suck the life outta you!”, but that too needs some improvement I think. So any suggestions on a new name, catch phrase, or even a backstory or daytime alias? The costume at the moment is a cross between a doctor and a butcher, with a hint of crazy thrown in. Fire away! ---

The first thing that comes to mind is the phrase “enfant terrible”, but that’s not a very good fit. ---

Ohh I like Dr Placenta. That way the abortion is just a by-product of him needing a placenta to gain strength. But what powers would a placenta give a man like that? And what kind of backstory could he have? ---

If you need a good visual aid may I recommend dead baby on a stick. A few years ago I had to make a prop for a play once that was a coat hanger after, um doing the deed. It was really easy and looked gross. I got a wire coat hanger and straightened it out, then I balled up some paper towel and coated it in liquid latex. After getting the right shape and letting it dry I coated it in a stage blood that dried (some stay sticky) And voila dead baby on a stick. If you don’t have liquid latex or stage blood you can just use a good thick latex paint, but it can be really hard to get a good blood red. Yours would only have to last one night, mine had to last two weeks. ---
