Last year I don’t remember if we eventually got a commercials-only thread, but we ended up having 2 seperate groups using the same room superbowl thread for both the game and the commercials which made it feel a bit like it was being used at cross-purposes. So I’ve decided to create a thread for the discussion of the Superbowl commercials. I refuse to put it in roman numerals because that practice feels somewhat pretentious. Feel free to post about any sort of controversies or rejected commercials or anything like that. [This medical marijuana commercial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4GpGHgOHAk) was rejected for the superbowl, as it’s such a conservative anti-drug organization that only 57 alcohol commercials will be allowed instead. ---

Not a good year for Superbowl commercials. or halftime shows. Or football. The beer commercial with the lady talking into 2 mics… WTH? Not sure why but creeped me out. They could have done better if she just held it for 30 seconds without saying anything. ---

The commercials are horrible. Please, let’s stop talking about Super Bowl commercials as if they’re special; they’re complete and utter garbage. ---
