Yep, I’m one of those people who only watches for the ads and the half-time show. Some ads I’m looking forward to this year: - The Osbournes meet the Osmonds - Pepsi Twist ad - Willie Nelson - H & R Block (ha ha ha) - Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines trailer - Awwww yeah, Ahhhnuld’s back, baby. - Hulk trailer Not too thrilled with this year’s half-time line-up, tho’ since I’m not a Shania fan and I’m not even sure who Michelle Branch is…oh, well…at least there’s Beyonce… 🙂 ---

Do they post the approximate times (1st quarter, etc.) that the respective ads will be shown? Almost certainly a stupid question, 'coz then folks like me, who only want to see the Hulk and Terminator trailers, wouldn’t stick around for the other ads. Having said that, when are the Hulk and Terminator trailers gonna be shown? ---

I’m not sure when the ads/trailers will be aired – I suppose you could always tape the game and fast forward. ---

[Here’s](http://sportsbybrooks.com/superbowltvcommercials.htm) a listing of ad buyers by quarter. Warner Brothers is releasing _Terminator III_ and Universal is releasing _The Hulk_, if it helps. ---

Well I started another thread, but we should probably lock that up and let it die. As I mentioned there, the Superbowl: Rise of the Machines with Arnold was painfully bad. Possibly the worst commercial, though i suppose technically it might not be considered a commercial. The Charles Schwab ad with the guy running away from the mailman was pretty good. And the Bud zebra/referree commercial was great. ---

The Matrix previews are my favorite so far, although the Hulk preview kicked ass too. ---

[hijack] I do NOT hate football. But I find it hard to watch when it involves teams I do not care about\* [/hijack] I kinda liked the zebra as horse football referee. And the Fed Ex ad was good. and I saw the Hulk and Matrix ads! and the Willie Nelson H&R block ad was good (wow, usualy most ads suck, I’l pleasently surprised) Brian \*which consists of teh Packers, and I did watch the Rose bowl with UW-Madison ---
