They did tell you about IPs in that fancy four year college you went to, which is a lofty achievement, since so few people are able to attend one. Edit: I was unclear in my last sentence. I was referring to our troll’s achievement of attending a four-year college as lofty. ---

A lot of people finish the two years at SMC and transfer to UCLA, Cal, USC, and other selective schools. Obviously there’s a wide variety of outcomes for students, but if they’re willing to put in the work, and if the school offers the resources they need, a junior college can be equivalent to the first two years of university. ---

The thing I don’t understand, though, after reading through this thread and the linked thread is that the linked thread is about strange prejudices. The prejudice against community colleges is kind of stupid, but so are most of the other ones listed there. So why are people making a big deal about that and not “people who like medium steak”, or “bald people”? Those prejudices are equally stupid.
