I remember seeing a documentary or something that was talking about early superheroes and TV or movies. One had a Superman type hero on a building being shot at by two bad guys. The hero picks up one of the baddies and tosses him off the roof of the building to his presumed death.
I’ve not been able to find where I saw it, but that scene stuck with me because it was so unexpected.

It surprised me, too, the first time I saw it. You couldn’t do that in a childrens’ movie today!

Hell, one time he killed the same two people dozens of times in one sitting!

Considering that the victims didn’t seem to care that much about self-preservation until they were in danger of running out of replacements, but surrendered before they could be wiped out, it might count as zero kills.

And I say again, the Punisher is nothing but a Mack Bolan wannabe.
Or even Power Man and Iron Fist… Luke Cage… which I think is still the nominal nominary for Mortal Combat’s Johnny Cage.
According to this article…
A person's Hollywood career pretty much banks on their name. Some of these stories, though, are just downright ridiculous.
…Johnny Cage’s name was inspired by Nicolas Cage, whose surname was originally inspired by Luke Cage
I think those are the only two Alan Moore works I am familiar with, should I look more into his stuff?
Yes - most if not all of his stuff is worth a read, from his work on Swamp Thing, to books like Top Ten (my personal fave), V for Vendetta, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell, etc…
