Looking at the third picture down, the right one. You are right. Superman’s crotch is about 10 inches higher than Clark Kent’s. I will never be able to look at superman again without sympathy super-wedgie pain.

Reason for Reeves’ flying posture: After an accident involving the suspension wires used for early flying scenes, he switched to being filmed lying face-down on a table, which was not conducive to cocking one leg forward. (Cite: My local comic book guy/Superman expert).
