Re: the daughter, [she](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alona_Tal) was a recurring character on _Veronica Mars_, but she apparently [won’t be back to SPN](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Harvelle#Joanna_Beth_.22Jo.22_Harvelle). And yes, she makes my insides feel funny, too.
Now, how long until Sam starts moping about his dead girlfriend?

nobody has mentioned that Dean is still holding the knife that Castiel used to cut himself, and create that bloody-wall-painting/spell. Is that the same knife that Sam and Dean were using to kill demons? Either way, it should be enough to kill Lucifer.
Also, did anyone else think, just for a second, that when Castiel cut his arm, that he was going to have Dean drink his blood? I had this flash for a second, of a demon-blood powered Sam fighting a angel-blood powered Dean. But then he went all blood-smeary on me, and it was over. Ah well…

Absolutely. I guess that’s just as well they didn’t, though, because we later learned it wasn’t the demon blood powering Sam after all.

From what I can tell from the internets, EVERYONE thought that. I did, for a second. I am so glad they didn’t go there, though.
I’m interested in how Sam’s powers will work in the future. He always had them, apparently, and they were unrelated to the demon blood - although presumably he really WAS addicted to it. (He’s still going to have to go through detox, though, right?) It was kind of a placebo, I guess. I don’t know. I wonder if Dean will be so hell-bent on Sam not using his powers in the future. Was it the powers alone that the angels objected to so much, or was it the demon blood drinking thing? Not sure.
The internets have also informed me that the kid who played young Dean in the episode After School Special was on _The Suite Life of Zack and Cody_, so that may just be a shoutout. The nurse was also named after the one of the SPN reviewers at TWoP.
