I didn’t include the release years or album from which the track came from. I’ll try to post the whole database up on [doteasy.com](http://doteasy.com) and link it _sometime in the future_.

**Third: The Poll & How it Works**
It’s simple enough, post your **6** favorite songs by the artist. Personal observations, opinions, liner notes, comments and the like are always welcome but are in no means required. You **May** include Cover Versions. If you specify Live version, it will be noted, but tallied together with the studio version of the same title. My only request of you is to please _try_ to be as accurate as possible when naming your favorite tracks. If the track you select isn’t an _Alex Chilton solo_ track, please try to put the artist (either _Big Star_ or _The Box Tops_) in parentheses after the track title.

**Lastly: The Supplemental Poll Artist of the Week**
I know what you’re thinking, ‘Shut the hell up and get on with the poll already damnit!’ So, without further ado, for Fish 42: **Alex Chilton And Any of His Bands: Big Star or the Box Tops**.

Here are my _6_ **ALEX CHILTON** selections:

1. My Rival
2. Rock Hard
3. Bangkok
4. Hey! Little Child
5. Like Flies On Sherbert
6. No Sex

So tell us…Do you have **6** favorite tracks? Will Fish 42 even remember he asked for this poll almost 2 years ago? Were the Replacement’s prophecy from ‘Pleased To Meet Me’ come true & on of Alex’s songs knock Elvis Costello’s “Watching the Detectives” off the top vote getter position? You never know – though I’ll concede the odds of Elvis’ continued reign is pretty much a forgone conclusion. Those answers and much more next week, same Eastern Standard Time, same web address.

**Thanking you all in advance** I hope to see you at the **Cracker** and **Camper Van Beethoven** polls. **Have a great week!**

I do remember the TVZ request, but the Raspberries musta slipped my mind (probably due to a defense mechanism whenever the song ‘All By Myself’ enters my brain  )

From the little I know of your musical taste (Buffalo Springfield, Townes Van Zandt & The Raspberries) I know of an FM DJ who has very similar musical tastes to you.

His name is Dennis Elsas. There’s a short bio about him [here](http://www.westchestermagazine.com/wfuv_storyp01.htm).

Even though Elsas used to take alot of heat from other ‘progressive’ DJ’s for playing the Raspberries (call me nuts but I still feel ‘Go All The Way’ is a great piece of song writing) - he outlasted most of his critics. If you have time between 2PM and 6PM EDT, he still has a radio program on WFUV, which streams [here](http://www.wfuv.org/stream.html).

You might like giving it a listen. Here’s a sample playlist from a couple of months ago:

You’ve pretty much nailed my music tastes with that list. I didn’t think I was that easy to peg. I’ll check that guy out. Thanks.
