Jack from Will & Grace. A show with Jack in his late teens struggling with his sexual identity and coming out in the last episode would be a great service to all young gays and lesbians. Throw in a rah-rah Christian neighbor (Pray The Gay Away) and the young woman who loves Jack and it’s a hit! ---

Guerrero from Human Target. And there was another similar character on a show around the same time that he should have teamed up with, but I can’t remember who or what show. Into the depths of TV Tropes… Maybe team him up with Elliot from Leverage. ---

What about a show with Abby from NCIS and Garcia from Criminal Minds as college roommates? Sort of like Freaks and Geeks, with them being the computer geeks. ---

When The Closer was on, I wanted a spin off with Flynn and Provenza retiring, moving to Florida, and opening a private detective agency together. But Major Crimes ruined the characters. Alas. ---

There was an attempt made for a _Married…With Children_ spinoff with David Garrison as Steve Rhoads which would have taken place at Trumaine University, the college that Bud Bundy attended. ---

Sometimes a little bit goes a long way. Which illustrates why not every supporting character can sustain a show if cast as a main one, and explains why ensemble casts can work so well if no single character dominates. ---

If Crowder had gone to a spinoff, it wouldn’t have been nearly as satisfying to me. Given that Boyd was supposed to die at the end of the very first episode, I’d say he did pretty well. ---

There a lot of possibilities for characters who could have had long running shows of their own. How about Joey from Friends? Or Joanie and Chachi from Happy Days? Oh, this is a real good one, Mr. and Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company! ---
